These print screen shots are the results of our questionnaire, on the results is shows us that most people prefer R&B music, but we didn't want to do something to common, which is why we didn't follow the results. The next preferred genre of music was rock, followed by pop. So our type of music wasn't actually that popular with the audience we asked. We then asked what people liked seeing most in a music video, and it was obvious that a lot of varied shots was necessary, which is what our music video will hopefully consist of. Some people also said they preferred been able to follow a storyline  in a music video, which ours doesn't really have, because our chosen song (sticks 'n' stones) doesn't really have a storyline to follow. We then decided to ask how often people watched music videos or listened to music, so we could get an idea of what people would expect to see following today's videos. Nearly everyone said they listen to music everyday, and 2 people said they never do, which actually shocked me, as music is everywhere these days.

These images above are of the questionnaire we did to find out what our target audience would be. We have decided it will be for young adults because some of the lyrics aren't suitable for young children and it doesn't really strike me as something and older person would listen to. In our results we found out that quite a lot of people did like indie music, but most people said pop and R&B were their favourites. We didn't want to do a song that was really common to most people, as they would expect our video to be similar to the real one. We also found out that a lot of people liked seeing shots mainly of the band/singer in music videos but also have a bit of a storyline as it catches peoples interest.
